Accents & special mosaic
Accent and special mosaics open up additional design possibilities beyond classic standard surfaces. They serve to set highlights, create focal points or emphasise motifs deliberately.
The content should be read in a project-specific way: many items are not kept permanently in stock but selected depending on availability, series and use case. What matters is always the interplay with the surface – material, format and joint pattern must work within the overall design.
Accents
Mosaic accents serve to emphasise deliberately within a surface. They are used consciously as an eye-catcher, for depth or for light effects within the main material.
Accents create atmospheric, exciting mosaic works. Thanks to efficient processing – especially with standard formats – combining them within standard mosaic is particularly economical.

Special mosaic
Special mosaics deliberately leave the standard behind. Shape, surface or material follow not a pure grid logic but a design idea. With them, even geometrically simple motifs look very interesting.
As with accents, combination with a standard mosaic as an inlay (intarsia) or as a targeted full-surface use is possible. Here we can incorporate natural stone or metals precisely and elegantly via water-jet cutting. Micro-mosaics (under 8 mm) also count as special mosaic with us and enable maximum detail.
Special mosaics require early coordination, as they are planned project-specifically and are not part of the permanently stocked range.

Notes
This catalogue shows selected mosaic palettes that have proven themselves, are partly kept in stock or are based on reliably used materials. It represents the standard range, not the entire design spectrum.
Most mosaics are based on the standard formats 10 × 10 mm or 20 × 20 mm, which we largely keep permanently in stock. 10 mm offers a very fine resolution for graphic patterns and image motifs, 20 mm suits calm, large-area and economical projects; in manual production they can be combined with one another.
Material-related differences in colour, structure or surface are typical and intended – especially with natural materials, slight variations are part of the character of the surface.
