Glass mosaic
Glass mosaic offers high colour brilliance and a distinctive sense of depth. Light is not only reflected but partly carried through the material. It is also highly economical and versatile, which is why it is the material systemcp uses most often.
Glass mosaic is almost universally usable and impresses with its particular play of light and colour as well as its variety of materials. As our most-used material, it offers very good economy and availability.
Typical properties
- clear, intense colours
- homogeneous surface
- very consistent series appearance
- high resistance to water and chemicals
Suitable for
- bathrooms and showers
- pools and underwater areas
- wellness and spa applications
- wall mosaics
- outdoor areas
- graphic patterns and image motifs
Vitreous
Vitreous glass mosaic is the technical and economical standard. It is the basis for most applications and production processes.
Vitreous is the first choice when precision, colour variety and predictability matter. It combines excellently with the Nebula palette and accents in automated production, or with many other mosaics in manual production. We keep Vitreous glass mosaic permanently in stock in 10 mm and 20 mm square; we also regularly use 8 mm, 12 mm and 15 mm square.
Typical properties
- homogeneous colour
- matte to slightly glossy surface
- high series consistency
- very good predictability
Suitable for
- wall and floor surfaces
- pools and wet areas
- graphic patterns and image motifs

Nebula
Nebula glass mosaics have an iridescent surface that changes colour and depth depending on the light.
Nebula can be used over whole surfaces or mixed, as it is quite economical. Alongside Vitreous it is used very frequently. The full palette is available in 10 mm and 20 mm square, and in 15 mm square with a smaller palette.
Typical properties
- shifting colour effect
- lively surface
- deliberate departure from the homogeneous standard
Suitable for
- accent surfaces
- highlight zones
- applications with targeted lighting

Round
Round glass mosaics with an 18 mm diameter create a softer, more organic surface effect. The round geometry also adapts excellently to curved surfaces.
Thanks to the offset grid, round mosaics allow a looser overall perception and are particularly suited to rounded structures. At systemcp, round mosaic in 18 mm has become established because it offers good resolution. Optionally we also offer 25 mm in a smaller special palette.
Typical properties
- dissolved grid effect
- softer transitions
- higher joint proportion
Suitable for
- organic designs
- a looser or playful look
- surfaces without strict geometry

Diamond
Diamond glass mosaics have a faceted, geometric shape with clear edges and directions.
Diamond is not a neutral surface mosaic but a design statement. Our Diamond mosaic measures 12 × 19 mm and resolves your motif finely and elegantly. Similar to the round mosaic, the pieces are set offset, creating a lively appearance that usually harmonises wonderfully with calm motifs.
Typical properties
- emphasised geometry
- dynamic surface effect
Suitable for
- graphic patterns
- accent surfaces

Notes
This catalogue shows selected mosaic palettes that have proven themselves, are partly kept in stock or are based on reliably used materials. It represents the standard range, not the entire design spectrum.
Most mosaics are based on the standard formats 10 × 10 mm or 20 × 20 mm, which we largely keep permanently in stock. 10 mm offers a very fine resolution for graphic patterns and image motifs, 20 mm suits calm, large-area and economical projects; in manual production they can be combined with one another.
Material-related differences in colour, structure or surface are typical and intended – especially with natural materials, slight variations are part of the character of the surface.
